![]() Must be missing some bits, aside from the mob client issue i also do not have the skype for business web app, i get an error page when browsing to the server. Servers are correct, as i dont think it has the external url correct at the moment only the internal url seems correct.Īlso does anyone know of an online guide that covers the setup process and includes setting up for external clients? I want to make sure I set our server up correctly, i tried to follow as much as possible of the technet library guides. What do I do to reconfigure the autodiscover correctly ie make sure the url's for the external and internal The fat client then goes on to connect via sip, which the mob client doesnt. The mob client or fat client uses the autodiscover response. ![]() ![]() Just out of interest when setting up skype for business server is there anything i have to do to get the Autodiscover.xml right? I never got asked to specify anything for it during the setup, I just had another look at fiddler and it looks like neither I'm pretty sure my firewall rules are OK, as when I watch the log while connecting the mob app initiated the same rules as the FAT app so its getting through but something must be missing that the mob app requires which the FAT app doesn't on my lync server. It then tries to initiateĪ connection with .uk but fails with the error i posted above. which it can resolve and then receives the autodiscover.xml file from my lync server. but when it cant resolve it then looks for lyncdiscover. On fiddler i can see the lync mob app try to resolve lyncdiscoverinternal. Like i said the Fat clients get the exact same response but connect fine. Lync traffic to my one and only lync server. Lyncwebext & lync are both the same, i justed added them because thats what a setup guide i found said to do, .uk again is the only lync server i have, its pointing to the external interface of my firewall which then forwards all It must be communicating with my server shouldnt it if i got the certificate verification error, so cannot work out whats wrong? ![]() ![]() I found an article that said i could just use our firewall to redirect ports 80 & 443 to 8080 & 4443 rather than use a reverse proxy so i went that route. I also have our on site root CA cert installed on the device as the first error i received was a certificate verification error, now i just get cannot connect error. So what would be causing mobile clients to be unable to connect if PC clients can externally? I cannot work out what is wrong as Skype for business clients can connect without any changes, the autodiscover seems to work for PC clients. I have been trying fruitlessly to get lync 2013 mobile client to connect to my Skype for business server. ![]()
